I really like that it allows you to compare drafts.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4857377873018893716.post-57278274405938627462012-09-12T21:21:20.292-04:002012-09-12T21:21:20.292-04:00So many people love Word. I'm very pragmatic when it comes to software. If it does what I need it to do, then I'll go with it. If something better comes along, I'll switch. But if not, I'll stick with what I know. That's why I've been using Word for the past 20-odd years. I've tried Scrivener, and while it's good, it's solving problems I don't have. Word does what I need it to do, and nothing I've tried offers something better. OpenOffice offers almost the same, but for free. If for some reason I needed to buy a new version of Word and I didn't have the money for it, I'd probably switch to OpenOffice.Colin Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03292997431935215499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4857377873018893716.post-54848392691761363442012-09-12T17:35:55.786-04:002012-09-12T17:35:55.786-04:00I love search also...though I'm more into shru...I love search also...though I'm more into shrugs than eye rolls.Jennifer Hoffinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07616744694563644199noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4857377873018893716.post-64489893762848509992012-09-12T15:41:08.218-04:002012-09-12T15:41:08.218-04:00I love Scrivener. It all depends on how you want to do things, and this finally fit everything I've been waiting for!

My Blog Post
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13659874919389800615noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4857377873018893716.post-48233845750357613122012-09-12T15:36:23.038-04:002012-09-12T15:36:23.038-04:00I use Open Office (which is basically the same thi...I use Open Office (which is basically the same thing as Word, just free). Find and Replace is a real lifesaver, especially when you realize that you made the same mistake over and over. I did the 'find' trick with 'just' in my WiP, and I think I used it over 100 times (errrr... I mean *a friend of mine* used 'just' over 100 times).

I'm a new follower via GFC -- thanks for stopping by my blog!Nickiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14509263760472428391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4857377873018893716.post-42052389751338055992012-09-12T15:19:56.350-04:002012-09-12T15:19:56.350-04:00I just use Microsoft Word to write my stuff in.I just use Microsoft Word to write my stuff in.Michael Offutt, Phantom Readerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10557969104886174930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4857377873018893716.post-83468730757428096162012-09-12T13:21:41.757-04:002012-09-12T13:21:41.757-04:00Word for me as well! Wrong! Every single RTW post that I've visited today has been an "I use Word" post. And here I thought everyone was a Scrivener user but me. I like Word because I've been using it for as long as I can remember. The fact that I already know how to use it makes it so much easier to just sit down and write. The thought of learning a new program at this point just seems like too much work, you know? :)Jaime Morrowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03023932422477544525noreply@blogger.com
